Software Solutions

Software for businesses that sell things. Storefronts, the systems behind them, and the integrations that keep stock, orders and margins straight across every channel you trade on.

Services

Where we do our best work

We are specialists, not generalists. These are the areas where we can genuinely say we have done it before — on our own accounts as well as for clients.

E-commerce development

Online stores built to sell, not just to look good in a portfolio. Fast pages, a checkout that does not lose people, and an admin your team can actually use.

  • Shopify and Shopify Plus themes and apps
  • WooCommerce and Magento builds and rescues
  • Headless storefronts where the speed is worth it
  • Payments, shipping rules and UK VAT configuration
  • Migration from an existing platform, with the SEO kept intact

Marketplace integration

The plumbing between your systems and the marketplaces. Done badly it oversells and double-ships; done properly you stop thinking about it at all.

  • Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) integrations
  • eBay, Etsy, OnBuy and TikTok Shop connections
  • Single stock pool synced across every channel
  • Bulk listing creation and scheduled price updates
  • Order import, despatch confirmation and tracking write-back

Inventory & order systems

The back office that spreadsheets stop being able to carry — usually somewhere around the third sales channel.

  • Stock control across multiple locations and channels
  • Purchase orders and supplier management
  • Goods-in, barcoding and stock movement history
  • True landed cost and per-SKU margin reporting
  • Returns, refunds and replacement workflows

Web & mobile applications

When the thing you need does not exist off the shelf. Internal tools, customer portals and apps built around how your business actually runs.

  • Custom web applications and internal dashboards
  • Customer and supplier portals
  • Cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android
  • REST and GraphQL APIs for your own integrations
  • Replacing a spreadsheet that has become load-bearing

Automation & data

The repetitive work that quietly eats a day a week. We find it, automate it and give you the numbers back as a report.

  • Supplier feed imports and product data cleaning
  • Automated repricing rules within your margin floor
  • Scheduled reporting into email or a dashboard
  • Accounting sync with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
  • Alerting when a feed, a job or a listing breaks

Hosting, support & maintenance

Someone to call when it matters. Monitoring, updates and a named contact who already knows your setup.

  • Managed hosting, SSL and domain configuration
  • Uptime and error monitoring with real alerts
  • Security patching and dependency updates
  • Backups, with restores actually tested
  • Retained development hours at an agreed rate

Technology we use

Chosen to fit the job and to be maintainable by someone other than us. No fashionable stack you cannot hire for.

How a project usually runs

Most work lands in one of three shapes. We will tell you which one fits before you commit to anything.

  • Fixed-scope projectA defined build with a written spec, milestones and a fixed price.
  • Monthly retainerAn agreed block of hours each month for changes, fixes and improvements.
  • Rescue and auditA short paid review of something that is already broken, with a costed plan to fix it.

Questions

Before you get in touch

What does a project typically cost?

It depends entirely on scope, so we do not publish a price list that would be wrong for most people. What we will do is give you a fixed written quote after one call and a look at your setup — at no charge, and with no obligation.

How long does a build take?

A focused integration is often two to four weeks. A full storefront build or a custom system is usually six to twelve. We give you a milestone schedule with the quote and tell you early if anything slips.

Do we own the code?

Yes. On final payment the code, the repository and any accounts we set up in your name are yours outright. We do not hold hosting or source code hostage, and we will hand over to another developer without drama if you ever need us to.

Can you take over an existing project?

Often, yes. We start with a short paid audit so we can see what is really there before committing to a timeline — that protects both of us from a quote based on guesswork.

Do you work with businesses outside the UK?

We do, though our strongest ground is UK and EU marketplace work, UK VAT handling and GBP trading. If you are selling into the UK from elsewhere, that is very much our territory.

Have something in mind?

Send us a short description of the problem. You will get a considered reply from someone technical, not a sales sequence.
